ATTENTION DEFICIT HYPERACTIVITY DISORDER (ADHD) DIET

What to eat?and not eat?with ADHD.

ADHD has been linked to toxins in the body, such as pesticides, PCBs and metals. People with ADHD often have a lack of nutrients like omega 3 fatty acids, magnesium, zinc and so on. Processed foods may also be linked with ADHD.

Sergey Kalitenko MD?s thoughts:

  • Eat organic foods to avoid toxins.
  • Increase consumption of cold-water fish.
  • Eat plenty of nuts, seeds, and whole grains.
  • Eat more fruits and vegetables, especially green leafy vegetables, carrots and tomato.
  • Avoid processed foods, refined carbohydrates, white wheat and dairy products.
  • Steer clear of deep-fried foods, soft drinks and food additives.

Note: Diet alone cannot remove heavy metals and other toxins from the body.

Benign prostate hyperthropy (BPH) diet

BPH, a condition in men that results in decreased urine outflow from the bladder, is thought to be caused by hormonal changes. A typical Western lifestyle and diet may contribute to BPH.

Sergey Kalitenko MD?s thoughts:

  • Eat organic to avoid pesticides.
  • Increase your protein intake, especially vegetable protein.
  • Eat more fruits and cold-water fish.
  • Avoid butter, margarine, and animal fats.
  • Increase consumption of fermented soy products.
  • Cut out cholesterol-rich foods.
